It occurred to me as my boss was asking what the technical term for one of those amateur porn sites done by webcam are called (turns out it's just called a "webcam site") that from the very first day of working here, I have had some very interesting moments that go beyond what you would expect in a typical office setting. er
I have met a man named Burrito, participated in a photo shoot in my bathrobe, hosted a photo shoot in my bathroom, filled a baby pool with ice tea, lit candles glued to my boss' head, and even visited a condemned building for a photo op.
I've Googled things like.... George Mason reenactors, how to say "hi" in 50 different languages, why the Queens in a deck of cards hold flowers, and conspiracy theories. I've purchased sombreros, phrenology heads, and booty shorts.
We've x-rayed flowers, raw turkeys, and jack-o-lanterns, spray painted a brick wall (don't worry, it was Cabell's), built a life-size snowman out of decoupage, and did a plaster cast of a former employee's face, making it into an award.
I know there are other jobs out there that present very weird moments and experiences, but as a desk job goes, there is surprisingly very few dull moments here at WORK Labs. I mean, at the end of the day, it's not the strangest job, but it definitely has its moments.
