Digital marketing—what does it mean to the future of advertising? This week, our very own Cabell Harris was featured on the BeanCast, a great marketing podcast, to shed some light on this popular question. Joining him were Converse Digital's President Tom Martin, David Spark of Spark Media Solutions, and Tim McDonald, Director of Community at the Huffington Post. The evolution of traditional to digital is a hot topic these days. It can sometimes feel like a trick candle we keep waiting to die, but one beat later it flares up and we can't see our Twitter feeds through awful words like...SoLoMo. Still, there are good ways to talk about it, and the BeanCast does just that.
As ad tech becomes more prevalent, agencies obviously have to adapt and adapt quickly. Cabell puts it well—“I think the big thing that's changing now in a lot of this is that a lot of media used to be just how to communicate to people in the audience. And now, most of it or a lot of it is about how you're receiving information from an audience. And that's a real game-changer.”
