We told the story of Charles Luck through the history of Luck Stone in their beautifully designed brand book.
Every designer learns to beware of the gutter... but at WORK Labs, we have learned to celebrate the crack as documented in our comedic photography book of butts, Crack.
WORK Labs came across an interesting scientific fact that a kiss can make the heart beat twice as fast. This led us to create the Kiss & Tell Book, a collection of stories from celebrities about their first or most memorable kiss. In total 70,000 books were printed and sold with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the AHA's Go Red for Women campaign.
For incredibly idiotic, lazy people who don't like to read, we present Mini Cheats- a tiny version of cliff notes.
A hilarious children's book series conceived by Cabell Harris.
Nana is not your ordinary grandma. She never wears cloppy shoes, drinks prune juice, or worries about slippery surfaces. Eufala and Bog's Nana would much rather join the circus, work as a backhoe operator, or maybe become a detective.
Work has enjoyed designing the book covers for two covers for the One Show Annual publication. While the first cover shows the actual award (the infamous gold pencil) being spray painted, the second was designed with theft prevention in mind. Seeing as how the One Show Annual publication is quite a coveted thing, we thought disguising it in a reversible Giant Encyclopedia of Spores cover may help deter would-be thieves. I personally think anyone who’s anyone would love to have a beautifully illustrated book on spores, but by all means, take a look and judge for yourself.
As a part of the radio re-branding for Radio Heard Here, we developed this handy Radio book.
The nations top rated advertising Graduate program puts out the Sixty publication each year. In 2014 Work had fun designing Sixty XVII: A Study in Disruption, Transformation, and the Quest for Self Actualization.
The Brandcenter loved Sixty XVII so much, they hired work to do Sixty XVIII.
What better way to reach your target audience than by going directly to where they hang out? In this case, it was Harley-Davidson dealerships. We created a newspaper that spoke to the motorcyclist’s lifestyle and advertised Cobra throughout.
Over here at WORK Labs, we’re great at following instructions. We’re also pretty exceptional at designing them, as seen here for Beau Lake.
